An age-friendly city is a city that encourages active ageing by optimising opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance the quality of life as people age - World Health Organisation
The fund sets out a number of different challenges that have been identified through our consultation with older people and other partners, and we are inviting organisations from across the city to think about how they would go about addressing them. This might be about developing a new approach, focussing on a different audience, or providing information in a different way. The challenges are all linked to a different age-friendly domain. Find out more about the age-friendly domains.
Applications for the challenge fund have now closed. Those shortlisted will be contacted soon.
The Challenge Fund is open to any organisations in Bristol who have a solution to one or more of the above age-friendly challenges.
